Here are some pics from our photo shoot!
Mini Vacation
This year we decided to get out of town and visit my Dad's family in Utah for the holiday. While we were there we went to the Joseph Smith Memorial building and walked around Temple Square. While we were touring the Joseph Smith Memorial Building we were able to see a movie in the theater called Joseph Smith Restoration. It was awesome!
We stayed at my Uncle Ben & Aunt Cheryl's house in South Jordan and miss it already! We had the best time relaxing and visiting family. We definitely felt spoiled and they truly are the best. We can't wait to go back and visit with the kids. What a fun weekend we had seeing some of the sites in Utah, watching movies, playing some serious hands of nerts, eating some great food, and maybe my favorite part listening to stories my Aunt Cheryl would tell me about the Henricksen side.
Navy took to my Aunt Cheryl right away and it reminded me of when I was little and how much I adored her. We both will miss her very much!
I found a Gem!
Like I said I have been going through my pictures past and present and came a cross a couple of disks my Aunt had given me of my wedding back in 2005. I decided to finally put the pictures on my computer and decide what to with them. Ta-da! look what I found. The quality and picture isn't great but this is my absolute favorite version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow sung by my cousins Matt & Sam on one of the best days of my life. Aw, fun stuff!
Tribute
This weekend I was finally organizing all my misc. pictures and came across this one. I get teary just thinking about my Grandma and how much she means to me. Thank you so much for taking us shopping on Grandma-Granddaughter days, for your unconditional love and patience, and the extraordinary example you have shown as a wife, mother, friend, and daughter of God.
Grams you are so special to all of us and I love you so much.
